The new datacenter UPS HotSync technology - modular, redundant, parallel and fault-tolerant - ensures high availability in datacenters.

Eaton´s UPS HotSync technology has already proven itself successfully with thousands of UPS installations worlwide and has set a high standard for the reliability of UPS power supply.

UPS HotSync enables a configuration with several UPS modules in parallel circuit, where no communication between the modules is necessary. As a result the possible "single point of failure" on system level, which occurs with a conventional parallel configuration, can be avoided and availability can be maximized. Therefore the highest availability for your IT can be guaranteed.

In the UPS HotSync capacity operation up to 8 UPS modules in parallel circuit are able to fulfill the capacity requirements of the consumers or to be available as redundant modules. Example: Demand consumers 800 kVA, would porived three 400 kVA modules a redundance of n+1, i.e. two modules for the supply of the consumer and one redundant module. EPS Electric Power Systems GmbH

In the HotSync redundance operation there is a n+x parallel circuit possible, where both of the UPS modules are responsible for the supply of betriebskritischer consumers. In case one module fails, they get fully UPS-protected furthermore. At the same time the internal diagnostic function isolates the faulty UPS, whereas the supply of the connected consumers is taken over through the redundant UPS systems. The necessary number of UPS modules results from the documentation of the UPS products.

Server rooms (DataCenters) are the "heart" of each business. Therefore special requirements are put on surveillance systems - with reason.

A server room surveillance is based on a modular architecture, which consists of digital audio/videography systems as well as valuable cameras, microphones, loudspeakers, protected power (UPS power) and access control systems.
The particular components are choosen according to your requirements so that they are always ready for use. Alle record systems are connected to a central surveillance station (in case there are several locations or sections of buildings), which monitors the pictures of the different locations and passes them on to the network for information processing. Input and access can be done from any entitled control place. Each camera is able to monitor individually or simultaneously with other cameras. Recorded pictures get saved automatically on valuable BackUP systems, which are compatible with the different communication networks and computer systems.

Networks and data cabling with future!

As basis for the structured cabling (network and data cabling) the latest standards CAT5e or CAT5+, CAT6 and CAT7 or in accordance with specification of the ISO/IEC 11801 and EN50173/50167 are used.

The selection of the copper-cord cable, the fiber-optic cable and the patch pancel and especially of the RJ45 female connector is made in a way to ensure that it corresponds together with the other components of a Teriärverkabelung (data power outlet, patch cable and Verteilerpanele) to the requirements of a "Gigabit-Ethernet"(IEEE 802.3ab).

Cables with double shielding, foil-laminated plastic film and copper braid with high cover are standard.

The provided Verteilerpanele are executed in 19" technique, with shielded RJ45 female connector on the front side and LSA-PLUS-Aufschalttechnik on the back side. The mounting of the panels takes place in the Unterverteilerschränken at the highest possible position so that free space is available for eventual UPS systems, KVM switches.

The measurement and the creation of the test protocol is done for each cable according to the Gigabit-Ethernet regulations (ISO/IEC 11801 bzw. EN 50731). As a matter of course only the latest test equipment (Fluke) and tools are used.

For the primary and secondary sector an optical transmission system with 24 or 16 Adern is recommended. The mounting of the conductor should adapt to the local requirements. The time of  mounting allows that the cabling of a floor can be carried out without interruption, i.e. throughout 7*24 hours per week.
